Expanding the Possible

Our campers are the pure image of courage! The word courage comes from the Latin word cor, meaning heart and the original definition was to tell the story of who you are with your whole heart.

Our campers here constantly amaze me with their courage to live life to the fullest! Nothing is too big or too high for them… they sky is the limit! They look at something like the Zip tower that is 30 feet tall and at first they are a little scared, but that doesn’t stop them! This afternoon during free choice I watched a group of campers face their fears, climb the rock wall and fly down the zip tower. They giggled, made funny faces, waved to their friends, yelled for their counselor to take their picture so their families could see and had the time of their lives this afternoon.

They inspire me daily to be a better me and I am so thankful for that!

As Always it has been a GREAT day here at Camp ASCCA!
But now it is time for bed, we sang the Goodnight Song and we are all headed to bed!

Goodnight ASCCA family see you tomorrow!!!
