Brittany is from Montgomery, Alabama and attends Troy University. She is a sophomore studying psychology with plans to become an occupational therapist.
Brittany found out about Camp ASCCA because her sister attended camp here for a few years with her most recent stay in 2009. She would hear stories about camp from her sister and had the opportunity to be here once to drop her sister off. In 2009, her family also attended “Operation Military Kids” where Brittany got to see more of camp. After exploring camp, she was interested in working here and “helping campers have a fun summer.”
Brittany gained experience in aquatics by working as a lifeguard at Maxwell Airforce Base in Montgomery since 2013. When she saw there was an available position for aquatics at Camp ASCCA this summer Brittany was eager to apply.
We are so happy to have Brittany here with us this summer! Her favorite thing about camp is seeing the campers go down the waterslide, it’s one of her favorite programs to work at. Thanks Brittany for the awesome job you do.
