Session 6: Campers Get Creative

Campers have fun coloring bandanas to wear for western week!

One of Camp ASCCA’s favorite rotations during the week is arts and crafts. Throughout the summer, campers create new projects like star-wands for the Fourth of July, make bracelets and necklaces out of beads, and so much more! If campers finish early they have the option to color or paint posters! Arts and crafts is a great way for staff and campers to relax why using their creative side.

Today, campers colored bandanas to wear for the rest of the week. Fitting the western theme, campers colored their bandanas many different colors and drew many designs. Campers are excited to wear their new accessories to the Drake White concert tonight at the BcK4T! This week consisted of bracelet making and bandanas for campers to enjoy. If campers finished their crafts early, they had the option to make posters for the concert tonight. Posters that read “Camp ASCCA loves Drake White” hang up in the arts and crafts center.

Camp ASCCA is full of outdoor activities for campers to enjoy. We provide options like zipline, tubing, and nature. However, sometimes it’s nice to take a break and let your creative side out! Campers are decorated in all their crafts throughout the week and can’t wait to show them off tonight!
